Who handles your information
Maeve Becker, property owner in Melo, Gouveia, Portugal, is responsible for the personal information used to handle enquiries about Quinta Arco-Íris. Enquiries go directly to Maeve, not automatically to an estate agent. For privacy requests, contact Maeve@kw.com.
What is collected and why
When you contact Maeve by email, WhatsApp or phone, she receives the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message. These are used to answer property questions, arrange viewings and discuss a possible purchase. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. The contact section uses direct contact links; it does not submit your message to a website database.
Legal basis
General enquiries are handled on the basis of Maeve’s legitimate interest in responding to people interested in the property, with use limited to that purpose. Where you request steps towards a possible purchase, information necessary for those steps is processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Information required by law is processed under Article 6(1)(c). Providing contact details is voluntary, but Maeve needs a way to reply. Your information is not used for automated decisions or profiling.
Who can receive it
Your details are not sold or added to a marketing list. Maeve uses Gmail to handle email enquiries. If you choose WhatsApp, that service also handles the communication. Only information necessary for a requested viewing or potential sale may be shared with appointed real-estate or legal representatives; information may also be disclosed where required by law. Email and messaging providers process communications according to their terms and may process data outside the European Economic Area. How long it is kept
Ordinary enquiry correspondence is kept until Quinta Arco-Íris is sold and is then deleted. Records forming part of a completed transaction, or needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, may need to be retained longer for those purposes.
Your rights
You can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction of its use, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also have a right to data portability where applicable. Email Maeve@kw.com; these rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in GDPR. You may complain to Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or another competent supervisory authority.
Other website services
This notice explains property enquiries. The website also displays an embedded Google Map and links to external services. When those services are loaded or opened, their providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies.
