I feel like a Californian, but I actually grew up in Ireland, where I earned a degree in Education and began my teaching career. I moved to California in 1985, got married and continued as an educator while raising our three children. My lifelong love of music led to me becoming the music director at my church in 1990, a position which continues to bring me tremendous joy. When our youngest daughter, Katie graduated from Junior High in 2012, I began to think about what my next career step would be. After more than 30 years working with young children, I knew that it was time for me to graduate too!
Why Real Estate?
My love affair with Real Estate began almost 16 years ago when I was buying my first home. When I began investing a few years later, buying my first income property, I was really hooked. Getting my real estate license was the logical next step. I wanted to learn more about the world of real estate investing as we prepare for our retirement, and was excited to share what we learned with others who are ready to buy, sell or invest in Real Estate.32yrs experience as an educator has honed my skills as a visionary leader, a creative innovator, and a valued negotiator and collaborator. I continue to use my teaching skills in my real estate career, whether I’m helping a first-time home-buyer navigate the steps of their first purchase, a seller understand current market conditions, or a savvy investor analyze the rate of return on an income property/
As I reflect on my days as a parent, an educator, a music director, and now a Realtor, I realize that I’ve always been blessed to work in a field that I’m passionate about.I’m so grateful that I get to wake up every morning, excited about the work that I’m doing, and the amazing people with whom I interact each day. I’m also indebted to my husband Bruce, who works alongside me, and contributes his wealth of knowledge about all areas of construction to me, and our clients. We have lived in Malibu, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Culver City, and Venice prior to buying our current home in Inglewood. Living in these diverse neighborhoods has given me a wealth of insight into the varied lifestyles, and unique amenities that these communities have to offer.
